Getting older does not mean getting weaker.

StrongHer Training is small-group coached strength training for women 40+. You do not need to already be fit, know the equipment, or have ever picked up a barbell. You need to be willing to learn.

Not a bootcamp. Not a cardio class in disguise. Not a room where you are left to figure it out alone.

Why strength matters more after 40

For years women were told to eat less, do more cardio and lift light. We understand a great deal more now about what muscle and resistance training do for women as they age, through perimenopause, menopause and the decades after.

Muscle you keep

Muscle is not automatic after 40. Training with meaningful resistance is how you hold onto it, and holding onto it is what keeps you capable.

Bone and joints

Loading the body properly supports bone health and the strength of everything around your joints. It is preventative work, done years before you need it.

Function that lasts

Balance, coordination, getting up off the floor, carrying what you need to carry. Strength training protects all of it.

Confidence under load

Something shifts the day a woman lifts a weight she was certain she could not. It does not stay in the gym.
